To delete multiple messages, press and hold the shift key (aA) and scroll up or down the message list. When you have all that you want to delete, release the shift key and press the BB key and select 'Delete Messages.'

To select all your messages, scroll all the way to the top of the message list, highlighting the date then press the BB key and you'll have the option to 'Delete Prior' which will delete ALL messages or 'Mark Prior Opened' which will mark all your messages as read.
